Book Review: Harriet’s Halloween Candy by Nancy Carlson

Today’s review is Harriet’s Halloween Candy by Nancy Carlson and here’s what it’s about:

While sharing might be okay the rest of the year, on Halloween Harriet’s determined not to share her treats with her little brother, Walt. She is running out of places to hide her stash, and there’s only one thing she can do … Harriet’s hilarious–and tummy aching–solution will delight both her old fans and those new to Nancy Carlson’s Neighborhood in this comical tale of a hard lesson learned.

Harriet is like I was when I was a kid, very selfish with her candy. I also ate too much too quickly, as does Harriet. How about you? Do you sneak your candy and eat so much that you don’t leave any room for dinner? What’s great about this book is we can all see a little our ourselves in Harriet.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 Scary Pumpkins
