Book Review: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams

Today’s review is Book Review: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. Here’s what it’s about:

0nce upon a time, there was a little old lady who was not afraid of anything! But one autumn night, while walking in the woods, the little old lady heard . . . CLOMP, CLOMP, SHAKE, SHAKE, CLAP, CLAP. And the little old lady who was not afraid of anything had the scare of her life!

What stands out in this book is how the story progresses, and the repeated phrases add extra fun to the read. The things that try to scare the old lady are even a little funny thanks to the illustrations by Megan Lloyd. There is a fun twist at the end I think you’ll like.

This really isn’t a Halloween themed book though. It’s more of a fall book. I still suggest you add it to your Halloween reading list.
