Movie Review: Zombie Hunter

ZombieHunterOnce again I’m disappointed by a low zombie movie rating. This was a good B-movie! Well, kinda good. Here’s what it’s about:

“Zombie Hunter is set in a post-apocalyptic Zombie wasteland caused by the mysterious street drug “Natas”. We follow one man who has nothing left other than a beat up Camaro and a trunk full of guns and booze. He runs down Flesh Eaters, hunting for sport and redemption, while also running from his past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, who are running low on resources, he decides to lend a hand. But a surprise attack by the Flesh Eaters forces them on the run and puts the Hunter’s skills to the test.”

Personally, I think Danny Trejo has found his calling in zombie movies. He lifted Rise of the Zombies out of ultimate sucking into really sucking. In this case, he brought Zombie Hunters up to the level of kick-ass FUN! Well, when he was in the movie. Despite him being on the cover, he’s a minor character. There are some laughs to be had, and I would suggest giving it a try if you’re into low-budget zombie movies like me. However, this one won’t go on my FAV list because I forgot most of the other characters.

My Rating: 3 out of 5

Please leave zombie movie suggestions in the comments. Movies must be rated a 4 or below on IMDB.
