Weekly Whine: Crunching the Numbers

Look at the hair on this kid. Is he adorable or what?!?! I’d be crying too on such a bad hair day…LOL!

It’s another slow start Monday. But I don’t care this week. It’s a gorgeous day today, so I’ve been in and out of the house, trying to play ball with the beagles. Now beagles are not a breed known to participate in more than a chase the ball–when I feel like it. Believe it or not, I’ve got Charlie trained to play fetch. Our little porker, Howie, is more inclined to sit and watch the ball, figuring he gets enough exercise from moving his head. Today, they are both pooped out from weekend walks totaling about 12 miles. So I’m doing all the fetching.

Over the weekend I felt like I needed to re-prioritize yet again. This time I tracked the time I spend on each task or thing I do, kinda like I did when I was a Project Manager, and I found that at the rate I’m going, I’ll complete the first courier novel in five years. YIKES! I’ll end on that note and get back to editing.
